ACTivegamerS Presents: THROWDOWN and TRIPLE THREAT - National Event!

ACTivegamerS is a new S class company giving their all to underground competitive gamer scenes (currently for fighting games since they deserve more hype, but more genres in the future!), holding big-money tournaments... and now spicing up the tournament scene!

We're tired of drabby-looking tournaments, so ACTivegamerS is going to step it up! We want tournaments in America to be at least on par with Korea's gaming scene; people coming from all over simply to watch these events go down, cheering and recognizing it as a national sport, and making celebrities out of gamer pros! How do we step it up? Well, we have a number of ideas.

November 13th - 'THROWDOWN' - The epic 18+ party in celebration of ACTivegamerS and for the 'TRIPLE THREAT' tournament the next day!
November 14th - 'TRIPLE THREAT' - A huge tournament we've all been waiting for! Guaranteed OVER $5000 collective prizes on TOP of large money pots for Street Fighter IV, BlazBlue, and Tekken 6! BONUS tournaments include Street Fighter HD Remix, Street Fighter 3rd Strike, Smash Bros. Brawl, and 'Game de la Femme,' a free-entry Street Fighter IV tournament for the ladies, with prizes! Possible Brawl ladies tournament if there is enough interest.

We picked up a DJ from the underground raver scene -- DJ Techno Tony -- and he's going to make the place shake and glow! Watch him on stage with gogo dancers and a choreographed stage fight in spirit of fighting games all around!

This is the level the party on Nov. 13th is going to be like.

See badass anime/game-inspired costumed chicks passing out drinks, free glowsticks, and other free goodies at the party!

Cosplay and/or neon raver outfits are encouraged!

It's FREE to join the party if you already pre-registered for one of the tournaments the next day OR ONLY $20 to get into this CRAZY event! Did we mention the lines of CASUAL GAMING SETUPS in a separated area? You can still listen to music while having fun dominating scrubs! There's also a VIP area at a higher level with windows overlooking the rave. Some casual setups and the pros will be hanging in there!

People want hype, so we give it to them! BRING YOUR FRIENDS! HAVE A GOOD TIME!

ARTISTS

On the 14th we need artists that may set up and sell their own artwork, whether it be drawings or self-created merchandise! If you have your own stand or easel, you do not need to rent a space. If you are bringing your own equipment, you only have to pay the entry fee (everyone pays this) UNLESS you have pre-registered for one of the tournaments. If you would like to purchase a table for your art, it is an additional $30 for the space. VERY CHEAP, considering the number of attendees! Chairs will be provided. You may set up on the 13th as well if you would like (you only have to pay for the 14th), but it will be dark, so this is your choice.

~~~WE WILL BE HOSTING A "FREE PLAY" (CASUALS) NIGHT STARTING AT 6 P.M~~~ Any one interested in practicing their moves on STREET FIGHTER IV is welcome to use our facilities! We just purchased an extra set of "ARCADE STICKS". There will be a small venue fee of 5$ a head and food will be sold so long as you are human and plan to eat at some point in the day.

On Saturday we hosted a Wii tournament for over 60 gamers.

Some walked away with prizes: movie tickets and gift certificates.
